TCS has a higher market value than IBM
India's largest software services company Tata Consultancy Services (TCS) has surpassed IBM in terms of market capitalization.
The market cap of TCS stood at Rs. 8.37 lakh crore ($120.5 billion) compared to IBM's $119.5 billion.
TCS reported revenue of $20.9 billion in the previous fiscal while IBM ended 2018 with $79.6 billion in revenue.
Ola hired Prashant Kumar as Director
Ola hired NITI Aayog Vice Chairman Rajiv Kumar's son Prashant Kumar as its director of public policy.
He will drive policy for corporate relations and will closely work with the head of Ola Electric Mobility Anand Shah.
He was earlier heading the Mumbai office of the US-India Strategic Partnership Forum.
Google Maps' new feature tested in India
Google is experimenting with a new off-route safety feature for Maps, exclusively in India for now.
It will alert users if their cars or taxis deviate from their route by more than 500 meters.
The off-route alerts can be found within the Stay Safer menu, which is accessible after the user has selected their destination but before they enter navigation mode.
Microsoft introduced next-gen Xbox console
Microsoft introduced its next-generation Xbox console at its pre-E3 press conference in Los Angeles.
Codenamed Project Scarlett, the console will be 4x more powerful than the Xbox One X, Microsoft claimed.
The device promises faster load times, real-time ray-tracing capabilities, Xbox One backward capability and will support 8K gaming.

Ashleigh Barty has risen to the no. 2 positions from number eight in the latest Women's tennis association (WTA) rankings after winning the French Open title.
She is now 136 points away from the number one ranked women's tennis player Naomi Osaka (6486).
Barty is the first Australian woman to win the French Open since Margaret Court in 1973.
NASA to test green fuel for spacecraft
NASA is planning on testing a new fuel for spacecraft.
Dubbed the Green Propellant Infusion Mission (GPIM) it uses a non-toxic, rose-colored solution that can be a breakthrough in space exploration.
The GIPM is a spacecraft which will use the aforementioned fuel to power the mission.
RBI constituted a committee
The RBI has constituted a 6-member committee to review the entire gamut of ATM charges and fees.
Chief Executive of Indian Banks’ Association VG Kannan will chair the committee.
The committee will review existing patterns of costs, charges and interchange fees for ATM transactions.
It is to submit its report within two months from the date of its first meeting.
