Introduction

Intelligence Bureau holds various recrutiment Exams every year. one such exam is the ACIO exam which takes place for the Recruitment of Assistant Intelligence Officer. This year, IB has Released 1.430 numbers of vacancies to be Filled for the post of IB ACIO Grade II 2017.

After  getting Recruited as an IB ACIO, you get a gross Monthly salary of RS 68,256 in Metro Cities & 61,064 in Rural Areas

Eligibility Criteria

There are overall 3 Criteria of Eligibility that you need to fulfill to apply for the MHA Recrutiment of IB ACIO 2017 Exam. You need to qualify al these 3 criteria to apply for this Exam:

Age Limit

Minimum Age:- 18 Years
Maximum Age:- 27 Years

Age Relaxation

SC/ST:- 5 Years
OBC: 3 Years

Educational Qualification

You need to have a Bachelor Degree from a recognized university or Institution. However, you should have basic Computer Knowledge.

Exam Pattern & Selection Process

The Selection process for IB ACIO 2017 Consists of 3 Stages. The Exam will be Conducted Offline mode. Check the Exam pattern as mentioned below:-

  • The paper will consist of 100 Qs (25 Qs per section) and carry 100 marks.
  • You will have 1 hour to complete the paper
  • There is a negative marking of 0.25 marks, for each wrong answer.
  • After qualifying IB ACIO Tier I, you will be eligible to appear in the next round i.e Tier II.

Tier-II will be a descriptive paper. The minimum cut off marks will be 33%. After clearing Tier-II you will be called for the Interview.

Interview

On the basis of combined scores of Tier I & Tier II, you will be shortlisted for the Interview. The Interview will consist of 100 marks. After the interview, the final merit list will be prepared on the basis of the combined score of Tier I, II & Interview.

Preparation Tips

Know the pattern & IB ACIO Syllabus with Weightage of each topic
This step is very important before you start the preparation for any competitive exam. It gives you a basic idea about the exam and puts you on the right track for your preparation.

Test your Current Preparation Level
Once you know the pattern and syllabus, you need to know where you stand in terms of preparation. You can know where you stand by attempting mock tests & determine how much more effort you need to crack the exam. This will include the following: The difference between your current preparation level and the level that is required to cross the IB ACIO Cut Off. What topics you need to work on. Are your basics clear or if you have started building your concepts from the beginning.

  • You will get the Registration Id and Password
  • Use a valid email Id that should be kept Active till the declaration Of results.
  • Note down your Registration ID and Password for future reference.
  • Login in using the  Registration Id and Password.
  • Upload your Scanned Photograph and Signature ready as per the requirement mention in the Official Notification.
  • Fill the Application Form carefully.
  • Submit the Application form.
  • Take the Print out of the Application Form for Future Reference.
