CPO stands for "Central Police Organization" which is conducted by the Staff Selection Commission or SSC every year in 2 tiers for the recruitment of Central Police Force

Reservation for SC/ ST/ OBC/ ExS etc. categories is available as per extant Govt. Orders and as communicated by the departments reporting vacancies.
 
In Delhi, Police reservation is available for Ex. Servicemen and special categories of Ex. Servicemen as detailed below:-
 
2.3 Out of 10% quota meant for Ex. Servicemen, 50% of such quota will be reserved for the following categories:-
 
Having served in the Special Force /NSG(Special Action Group)
 
OR
 
Having received a QI “Qualified Instructors” grading in the commando course.
 
OR
 
Officers from the Navy/Air Force who has worked in the specialized commando type units.
 

Eligibility Criteria

 

Age Limit

Minimum Age:- 20 Years

Maximum Age:- 25 Years

("Candidate should not be born before 02nd August 1993 and not after 01st August 1998")

Age Relaxation 

SC/ST:- 5 Years

OBC:- 3 Years

Jammu & Kashmir domiciled during 01.01.1980 to 31.12.1989 (UR/GEN):- 5 Years

Jammu & Kashmir domiciled during 01.01.1980 to 31.12.1989 (OBC):- 8 Years

Educational Qualification

Candidate should possed any bachelor degree from a Recognized university . for the post of SI(sub-Inspector) in Delhi (only) candidate must have a valid driving license for LMV( Motorcycle and car)as on the fixed Date for Physical Endurance and Standard test else the will not be allowed to perform the test.

Exam Pattern & Selection Process

The SSC Spo Exam will consist of two-stage, Paper I and Paper II. Candidate need to qualify both the Examination in order to go through Physical Endurance Test.

Stage-I

The stage-I consist of 200 numbers of Questions which contain 200 Marks which need to be performed within 2 hours. Please go through the detailed Pattern as mention below:-

Things to be Noted

Both the Question paper will of Objective Multiple Choice Type.

In the paper I the Question will be Set in Hindi and English in Part A, B, and C . the Cut off Mark for each incorrect Answer is 0.25.

So candidate needs to write the answer carefully.

Candidate can a may also note that as per the official notification of SSC, it has the right to add additional stages to the selection process.
